Yep...they make 'em for horses.
This spring, (BC...before crutches),
Buck was ordered a fancy new pair, in lieu of metal horseshoes.
Buck came to us with compromised hooves, many years ago.
The hoof will reveal a lifetime of nutrition, or lack thereof.
We felt, in Buck's case, a boot of this nature would serve him well.
Less invasive, and worn only when ridden.

cool!! glag he has such a good home!
How cute, Buck looks like he is holding it up to show us in the last photo..hahaha. Buck is certainly 'stylin' in his new boots.
They think of everything nowadays.
They look sharp and he seems quite proud of them!
:)
Look there - Buck has a new pair(s) of boots. What a guy!
Those are some nice new shoes, Buck is looking good.

Edward
Well! Who would have thought. I knew they were available for dogs, of course they should be for horses. Cool.
Thanks everyone. We thought it would be good, as his hooves wouldn't withstand the shoe, but needed the support. Our farrier suggested this route. A tad pricy, but worth it in the long run. We thought Buck wouldn't like hearing that Velcro rip, but he didn't even flinch. This was a horse that took about 100 hours before we could touch and work with him, many years ago.
Great life for Buck. Glad the boots work for him.
I wish we had known about these boots when we little Lacey was still alive. I think they could have helped her. What a great thing to do for Buck.
So this tells you (us) special touch aboard here. They know Him and feel Him in His followers touch. Blessings on both of you!
