What a Catch~!

Over the last decade, I've delighted in the fact that all my clothes,

coats,

{everything},

comes from resale shops. 

You can count on one hand, the number of items that haven't.

So you can imagine my delight when I found an interesting t-shirt this past week.

It was one of about 15 items,

all for $1,

that fit in a paper bag at our local resale shop.

If you know me, you know I love "Possum Living".

Dolly Freed, at age 18, tapped into this frugal way of living.

Less is More ~ Tale of a 4-dog Team

It's true.

Four sled dogs could take you 'round the world.

And back.

You need leaders with brains and dedication.

Who love spending time with you.

Those who may be little, but oh-so-mighty.

And those who have the soul of a sled dog.

We are blessed to have 5 such 4-dog teams.

It is purely our pleasure to care for them while on this earth.

Monday Mornings ~ 1/3 Living

Only 4 more Mondays.

Once I'm "retired", Mondays will blend into the other days of the week.

No line of demarcation.

Every day, except Sunday, will be nameless.

But full of work, like last year's snow-filled days. 

Work.

And wonder...

And celebration.

And raw living.

Possum Living

Now a NASA aerospace engineer,

check out Dolly Freed at age 18 (back in the 70's),

 when she lived with her father on a half-acre lot outside of Philadelphia.
