The Day is Done

Our nightly walk closes out our day.

And fills us with joy.

And peace that warms our soul.

Mustang and (young) Men

True connections can't be fake or forced.

Horses are too smart for that...

12-year olds are too smart for that.

The connection has to be slowly worked on...even double teamed.

And in the end,

experience moments of silence and solitude,

together.

Become one of the herd.

But allow that special one to come into your heart.

We thank God daily for the ability to have horses,

and a very special 12-year old,

in our hearts and home.

Babies and Bunnies

I wondered what this one particular rabbit would do once the piglets were born.

And it was just like I figured.

She did nothing.
