Mustang and (young) Men

True connections can't be fake or forced.

Horses are too smart for that...

12-year olds are too smart for that.

The connection has to be slowly worked on...even double teamed.

And in the end,
experience moments of silence and solitude,
together.

Become one of the herd.

But allow that special one to come into your heart.

We thank God daily for the ability to have horses,
in our hearts and home.

Until tomorrow, God willing.

What great photos and what an awesome life! Being grateful for the life we have has become a theme for me this week. Thanks for being a constant reminder.

Hi Mrs. Sutherby,

Great post. You must have a lot of fun taking care of all the different animals you have. I always did want to learn how to ride a horse. Maybe someday the Lord will allow for that to happen.

God Bless,
Josh

Horses have been given such an amazing way to read people...It looks as if the special 12yrs old is finding this out and enjoying the connection! :D

Thank you for the kind comments. We are truly blessed with all the life we have on this farm. The 4-legged, and the 2-legged.
