David

Kahlil Gibran
The Prophet, On Children

Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,

And though they are with you, and yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,

For they have their own thoughts.

You may house their bodies but not their souls,

For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.

Goodbye David ~ We'll miss you.

We love you,
Nana Shey Shey and Papa Russ

David, our grandson ~ the little Woodsman.
He left Michigan this week to go back "home" to California with his folks.

This visit...record winds.  Last visit...record low temps.

See the last visit departure 2 years ago.  Watch this.

My heart sunk until a couple of lines later. Blessings and God's Speed as he travels home. Tammy

Thank you Saloma for the kind words.

Tammy ~ oh my...I can see why you would say that. Sorry for the scare. Although he is fine, my loss is felt, as he heads back across the country to California. I will miss the little man.

What a cutie! He so reminds me of another little boy a many 36 years ago and now a man.

This long distance Gammie thing is at times trying at best. But aren't the times with them so much sweeter?
