Contentment.
Do you have it?
Or do you always feel like jumping the fence?
Flying the coop?
Or are you truly content with your surroundings?
Years ago, I was restless.
I was on a quest...searching.
Never finding.
But now...
I have found peace.
How about you...?
Take delight in the LORD,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4
Until tomorrow, dear friends. God willing.

Good post!
A new post hot off the press:)) I was just going up to bed, but had to click over Sherry.
Contentment~ I am content in the Lord. Not always comfortable where He places me, but content and trusting in Him:))
Such beautiful pictures!
We kinda just flung ourselves out here into the elements on our quest for a healthier environment.
When exposures to chems are high i feel a need to fly again..but right now we're in a holding pattern till the opertune time.
The desert has wonderful quiet places where contentment seems to flood in like no other place i've been.
Our morning Word is the best place of contentment for us always, no matter where we are.
but i AM always looking ahead...
Hubby and I are considered THE most boring people in our "neighborhood". We rarely go to town (weirdo's!) and we are usually out in the yard. Funny thing, though--we're the only ones truly truly happy. Well, except in March, when we're tired of the greyness of Northern Michigan and go SW to see the grandson and some warmth and sunshine.
Happy Content New Year to you, Sherry!
:)
I can say I am content in however the Lord chooses to bless me....I don't need or want much...all my needs are met...food,shelter,clothing....I am considered poor to most of the world and have little in material things but,I feel so very rich and blessed..
Oh,how I wish the world could SEE..."Thank you Lord for your blessings on me" :)
That is a song that speaks from my heart.....I love visiting you...I always leave feeling very at peace....blessings
Truly, part of my contentment comes from the readings of each and every one of your Blogs. I love my like-minded Blogger friends. Bless you all in the coming year.
