Not-So-Random Act of Kindness

If you've been on the Mighty Mac lately,
you might have been on the receiving end of a
random act of kindness.

Years ago, I was the recipient of an act of kindness while crossing the Bridge.

The vehicle in front of me...
paid my toll.

I was stunned...and thankful.

Since then,
whenever I cross the Straits of Mackinac,
I enjoy doing the same.

Paying the toll for the vehicle behind me.

Whether you are in Michigan, or in San Fran, try it.

You'll have a smile, and so will the car behind you.

Pass it on...

Until next time, dear friends, Lord willing.

Sherry

What fun! May not be random for us -- sure would be for the guy behind us. We are so 'middle America' that the bridge big won't work. But there's Turner Turnpike in Oklahoma. That'll surprise the guy behind us!!

What a lovely thought. We don't have any toll roads close to home but if I am ever travelling I will try to remember it.
thank you.
blessings to you

A great reminder and thought!! Someone did this for us several years ago, and it was on a day that we didn't have a lot of money, and it was so appreciated and truly a gift!!

haha! We do this everytime we cross it (about 4 times a year) Sometimes the cars will even catch up with us and honk! So much fun!
