Autumn Stroll - Walk with Me

Come along on our nightly stroll.

Just a few of our resident turkey flock, which consists of several dozen.

Deer tracks.

Our round pen, which houses summer memories.

The color is coming.

One of our tiny cabins...the Trapper.
The perfect place to read, meditate or pray.

 Our trails.

Coming off our trail system.

Compliments of our trail cam...a doe.

And those lean bucks who are chasing her down, also compliments of our trail cam.

Miss Sookie says hello...

The woods in all His glory.

We love being stewards of God's land, while we are on this awesome earth.

Until tomorrow, God willing...

Yes let's hear it for Fall-but what is this? Our Summer is doing what our Winter did. Just won't go away! 101 yesterday and today-projected 102 tomorrow.

The mornings are sometimes as cool as the high 40's and by afternoon late the temp. is up. But lucky for us with the shorter days the high temp. won't last long as it begins to cool down.

Excuse me God , could we have your Fall paintings soon?

God truly is an artist - only an artist could imagine how to create trees that do that. We are still green down here, little color. The bucks are going crazy now. We saw 3 chasing a doe yesterday too. Two of them had heads down ready to "butt" when we startled them. Your trails look so nice. Ours need more grooming. Too many "scrub" trees - we are kinda swampy in the woods. Blessings from Ringle, WI

Beautiful color, I love the field of ferns(?) that are changing. Hubby and I head up next weekend to spend some time on Mackinaw Island! This will be the latest in the year I have ever been up there, hoping to see lots of beautiful color!

Beautiful pictures as usual, Sherry, but I hope the poor thin bucks make it through the winter. I saw a lovely young buck dead on the side of the road two days ago here.

Welcome Jo from TN ~ And thank you everyone, for the kind words. Our color is just starting...it truly resembles an artist painting a scene before us, just like you mentioned Dicky Bird! Renee ~ enjoy the Island. I'm sure it will be beautiful~!! I'm heading up to the Grand Hotel in a couple weeks also!

I was just up in your area on the 26th. Traveres Bay Woolen Mills is no longer! I was hoping for a blanket!

It's been a while since we have been up there.

We were at Reedsburg Dam Campground for a week.

I should have planned ahead and tried to find you people while we were there.

Love all your pictures and activities!

I would love to go dog sledding sometime!

Do you ever come down here to the sled race at Sleepy Hollow State Park? That is only six miles from us.

Take care and enjoy this wonderful place we call home.

God bless.
