What a wonderful post, Sherry! I like how your horse is so relaxed with Russ working on him/her. And your photos are great. I, too, hope for some peace in relying on the Lord to take care of my care and worries. I am a worrier, so it takes some effort to let go. But as I get older, and trust more in God, it is getting just a little easier - but is still work. Take care, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend. from KY
I know what you mean Sherry. I feel like I always hold a little something back. But why, I don't know. I guess letting go is a little scary sometimes. For me, anyway. Love your pictures! They were a wonderful way to narrate what you were expressing.
Yes. I do understand. It is not easy to come to that place. We as humans are always questioning, wanting to control. And we wonder why God is laughing.
I don't claim to be an "expert" but I am trying and growing. My husband is still climbing and fighting-must be a Virgo thing? Faith I told him tonight.

It was pretty amazing...I have been waiting anxiously the last two weeks to find out if an early retirement would pass, allowing me to walk away from State employment after 20+ years and be home on our farm. I wrote this post, and went to work. Upon arriving Friday, I find it had passed. God always has my back...always. I just have to learn to trust and understand His perfect timing. ;)
A big yeehaw for you! And you said it again "trust" "faith". Isn't it hard letting your fate be in other hands/plans no matter who? But again the human side gets in the way. I am so excited for you and your family!
