Yesterday is ashes; tomorrow wood. Only today does the fire burn brightly.
This sentiment was one of my Dad's favorites.
He lived this way...and I struggle to follow in his footsteps.
However, I'm fortunate that my husband/best friend, Russ,
and all the animals on our farm live this way too.
Perhaps once I "retire", I'll be able to be fully in the moment.
