O Death, Where is Your Sting...

Sometimes a song touches the heart in a very special way.

This song touches mine.

You'll need to turn off the Playlist at the right, before clicking on this song.

Thinking of you, Terri, my dear friend at Our Crazy Farm.

For Terri, just as Mary, mother of Jesus, knows the agony of losing a son.
Trent.
And also knows the victory of everlasting life.

Come awake my friends.  Come awake.

Take a listen, and let the song soak in your soul.

Until tomorrow, God willing.

I have never heard this song but I love it, it also touched my heart in a special way. I just lost my Dad on Oct. 9th....he is with the Lord but I have been in such sorrow. Thank you for posting this beautiful song to remind us of what our Lord has done! Just subscribed to your blog.

"The Glory of God has defeated the night" Yes it has!

What powerful words! I have not heard that song before, Sherry. So moving, so true.

You are loved, my Barnabas, my prayer warrior, my friend.

"Blessing's" has been the song of choice here this week~ literally been played dozens of times, over and over and over~ soaking in the promises.

On my knees for you today~ keep fighting the good fight!

AMEN! Lost my mom on Sept. 17th (& my Daddy in 1999). They married in their later teens & were happily married for just days shy of 51 yrs ~ oh what a reunion that must have been!

Together at the foot of the Throne.

Blessings from Ohio...Kim<><

What a wonderful feeling, to have you dear people come to my Blog and share your stories...of loss... of hope. A blend of both. Welcome Melanie S. I understand your sorrow, as I also lost my father years ago, suddenly. I'm glad this song can bring you some peace. (You'll also enjoy seeing our Siberians, as I see you are a "dog" person.) Dicky Bird/Robin ~ thank you! Kim - what a blessing for your parents to have each other for so many years! Blessings to you all. Terri from Our Crazy Farm ~ YES...powerful words sending a powerful message. I love being your "Barnabas". I am a fierce prayer warrior on your behalf. I'm so pleased you enjoy Laura S's song...it delights me to know that she, too, knows your story of such faith. Thank you dear ladies.
