Hot days.
I sometimes think the animals do better than me.
They take hot temps in stride.
Of course, they have plenty of shade, fresh water and easy feeding.
My heart goes out to those in the world who don't...
At least in my little corner of the world, all is well.

I do so understand. My goats in Central Ca. thought nothing of the temps. 113 for weeks running with the low being 85 at 5 in the a.m.
Now that we have moved north 300+ miles we don't have the high temps for days on end.
I always felt the Nubians did better than the Swiss or LaManchas. They seemed to take great pride in developing huge "dust bowls" to wallow in. The Toggs just looked at them with dismay in their eyes."So you think you are a chicken?" they seemed to say!
The Nubies pretty much ignored them with an impertinent "Cluck or not we are cool and you are not".
So enjoy your photos!
