As "Mother's Day" approaches,
I can't help but think of all the children who are waiting for just that...
A mother.
Meet this sweet young man, Jared.
Be sure and turn off the Playlist soothing music so you can hear his plea for a new family.

What a perfect post for Mother's Day! As I was growing up, my mother was a foster mom for over 10 years. We ended up adopting a little boy and, later on, a little girl--my youngest brother and sister. Let's hope that your post will trigger a desire in many hearts to welcome one of these children into their lives.
Thank you for your story MBF, and the hope of triggering a desire to welcome a child. This little guy, and many others, touch my heart deeply.
Wow. I'd scoop that darling up if I could. Michigan is so far away! I prayed for a family to be blessed by adopting him. How could anyone not want him?
Dalyn ~ I totally agree. (And we have chickens/rabbits/horses/dogs...as he desires...) So precious...and he's one of many on the "available" list. I so often see people put more emphasis on who's on Petfinder, than the orphans of our nation. Not another country across the world, but our nation. Sad, but true.
Oh, I hope and pray that Jared has found a family. I came across this video after seeing your son's "Bible" video today. Thank you for caring and loving enough to remind us about these children. I have spent my life helping homeless animals and I have even forgotten to pray for the children. I so wish I was well physically and had the money to help a child like Jared. I can pray though. I hope that your post brought homes for many, and prayers for many too.
