We are not self-sufficient. We are God-sufficient.
Follow along on our 40-acre farm and sled dog kennel, with Micro Cabins and outhouse-living, in rural northern lower Michigan. We're not fancy...just folksy...and giving God all the GLORY. Husband and wife, equally yoked, as stewards of His land, knowing "Less is (truly) More"...
My Dear Sweet Friends
P.O. Box 903 Mancelona, MI49659 SNAIL MAIL WELCOME ~ we love to hear from you! or russstickacres@rocketmail.com
Beautiful horses, beautiful room, beautiful smiles! But by the way folks are dressed, I'm guessing the weather wasn't too warm and wonderful. Enjoy the trip-looks like fun!!
Looks like a amazing time! Is this event open to all or just a closed group? Would love to know more info about it. The pictures are just wonderful, they take you right there.
Thank you ~ Sue, the first day the sun was out. Heading for home, it was foggy and cool. Farmer ~ Please check out my previous Blog, which has information about Win-Some Women. Yes, it is open to all, and is held in spring and fall. I've been going 13 years, and try not to miss a session. Hope to see you in the fall!
Breathtaking pictures! So beautiful! We have never been to Mackinac Island~ we should plan a trip someday (Lord Willing:). Hope you had a great, refreshing weekend Sherry! Your comments always encourage me, as do your posts.
Thank you everyone. Mackinac Island is always magical. Terri ~ you're not the only one who asks about my photo...:) However, I could slide into the Amish culture, as I don't take photos of me, nor allow others if I have a choice. Perhaps one day...~:) Or, I'll just meet you in person ~ better yet!
