The Journey of Hope

Being a mother of grown, responsible men, isn't as easy as it looks.

You want to mother them.  And their children.

You welcome and embrace your new daughter-in-love, the mother of your grandson.

And the loving wife of your son.

You wish they lived closer than 3000 miles away...

Especially when things happen...which require hugs and hot chocolate.

Beautiful smiles turn to salty tears of loss.

The loss of unborn babies, so desired and planned.

But as difficult and sad as that may be, my son and his amazing wife trudge on.

They don't know the path their lives will take, but they are led by their faith.

For they know God has a plan for them in life.

Even if it is hidden from them now, they have faith in His plan.

And will follow His word, no matter how burdensome.

For there will be reward at the end of their journey.

And their family will endure.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1

Until tomorrow ~ God willing,
