I love seeing the world through a child's eye.
I hope I never lose that gift.
Having Jordan here the last week has reminded Russ and I of the wonder of youth.
Young, vibrant, smart, and loving nature.
Trying to see and hear all that is out there.
And having the energy to partake in all of God's glory.
The joy of farm tasks, knowing you truly make a difference.
And while working, taking time to be creative.
Patience, perseverance. Hands on.
It pays off, with a finished product.
And feeling good about a job well done.
I long to hear those words some day.
Well done, good and faithful servant.
Next up...Jordan's photos.
Here's one ~
Until next time, God willing.

Oh, man, you made Jordan's mahjah boo hoo again!! Love, love, love the pictures!! The hammock is incredible, bale twine and sticks! Amazing. I really like the feather picture....didn't know he had such an eye!
Great pictures! I can't wait to see more from this talented young man! I am going to have to show our kids the hammock~ we have plenty of twine and sticks around here. What a great idea, and what patience he had to make it!
Terri ~ he's now making a roof for his hammock - stay tuned! :) The sticks are iron wood - very strong - won't break if you want it to. The twine is from our huge square hay bales. Tell your kiddos good luck~!!
Thanks Amy ~ he loves the camera! And the camera loves him ~ he's very photogenic! ~:)
